Listen to S2E1I am Mehmet Bicakci, a research fellow and PhD candidate in educational psychology at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). My doctoral research focuses on STEM education, evidence synthesis, and meta-research, examining how educational intervention effects are interpreted and how moderator analyses inform research evidence. My broader work addresses giftedness, talent and creative development, with particular attention to educational resources, social judgments, and learning contexts. Across these areas, I use cross-cultural research, psychometrics, and qualitative inquiry to examine how ability is recognized and educational experiences and resources are understood.
